The hospital is a joint venture between Ear Science Institute of Australia, Day Procedures Australia (DPA) and a group of prominent surgeons with the objective of creating a surgical centre of excellence where patients can receive the highest standards of surgical and nursing care.

This objective is achieved through the development of a team consisting of highly respected surgeons, experienced, caring nursing staff, compassionate management and the best available equipment and infrastructure.

The centre is located in the new Ear Science Institute of Australia building and forms part of an integrated Otolaryngology service offering to the public. The building is designed to enable scientists, clinicians and audiologists to work under one roof, creating the synergy required for applied research and sophisticated hearing treatments.
